If you’re part of the design community in the Midwest, you’ve surely heard of or even attended Design Camp. Hosted by AIGA Minnesota, it’s the annual coming together of current, former and soon-to-be Creatives. Participants gather in the quintessential north woods of Minnesota for a weekend of inspiration, education, networking and general camaraderie.

Each year, AIGA MN asks one lucky agency to flex their creative muscle by designing the event theme and materials. This year, we took the charge. We came up with the theme of “Rediscover” as a way to reignite creative passion and excitement. We want to encourage attendees to immerse themselves in a different environment and fill themselves with inspiration.

“Designers are not unlike other professionals in that we can easily get caught up in the day-to-day obligations of work and life and, as a result, stifle our creativity and passion,” said Ian Davies, associate creative director at Little. “Our ‘Rediscover’ theme speaks to the need to step away and breathe new life into our work.”
